Fall 2002 Results Summary

Bob Dawson finished within 3 seconds of his predicted time to win his 2nd trophy. Bob was caught in the first 3 kms by Jim Wendland and Dan Burton, left to wonder whether he was running too slowly or if the speedsters were way ahead of their pace. In the end Jim and Dan both fanstastic run times, but were left well back in the closest to their predicted time category.

We were fortunate to be visited by an old friend, Ted Walraven, who was visiting from Vancouver. Ted, a former elite runner, showed his bravado by entering with a 39 minute predicted time. As it turned out, Ted's ego was writing cheques his body couldn't cash. It was good to see Ted even if we had to wait for him at the finish line!
